Sand Filters
While it is used for the removal of suspended solids and turbidity in sand filter treatment plants, it is also used in industrial facilities.
It can be produced under pressure or open to the atmosphere. It may consist of different layers such as gravel, sand, zeolite and activated carbon, depending on the intended use.
They can be produced as epoxy-galvanized steel or stainless steel.
