Mechanical multirake screen are used as coarse or fine screens in treatment plants, but are also used in water intake structures and industrial facilities. They are placed in the canal at an angle of 70-75 degrees. It is chain driven, it carries the wastes kept on the bars to the top of the screen by means of numerous slowly rotating rakes, so that the grid residues are slowly separated from the water.
The solid wastes cleaned with the help of the harrow counter cleaning mechanism are discharged from the point where the rotating chain turns upside down at the top.
It can be produced as epoxy-galvanized steel or stainless steel.
