The wastewater from the beverage industry includes organic solids such as fruit particles or grains and residues from broken glass or packaging materials. Such solids, usually with a 3 mm perforated gap with our spiral grating product. The spiral grid simultaneously rinses, dewateres and compresses the grid residues, so that the beads can be burned as solid waste.
After temporary storage for flow and charge equalization, the sewage is pumped into the Rotary Drum Grid. This ultra-thin grate can be removed even with very fine solids due to the grid spacing between 0.1 and 1 mm. The water flowing through the grate can be discharged into the sewer. The outlet water can be discharged directly into the receiving environment. The outlet water is also of very high quality, almost disinfected and allows reuse as process water.
