OCTOBER 29 REPUBLIC DAY
Today, as we experience the pride and excitement of stepping into the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, we want to celebrate this important day with enthusiasm and gratitude. The Republic of Turkey, founded by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms on October 29, 1923, celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. We would like to share this special moment to remember once again the victories and successes achieved in the past and to reinforce our hopes for the future.
Our Republic has experienced great transformations and successes over the past 100 years of unity and solidarity. Great steps have been taken in many areas, from education to industry, from culture to science. Today, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we must celebrate these achievements as well as strengthen our vision for the future.
Secularism, democracy and human rights, the fundamental values of our Republic, are values for which each of us bears responsibility. Protecting these values means building the bright future of our Republic. The duty of each of us is to keep these values alive and pass them on to future generations.
Today, during the 100th anniversary celebrations of our Republic, let us be in unity and solidarity. Let’s share our dreams for the future and work together to build the bright future of our Republic. Together, we can take our country to a stronger, fairer and more advanced level.
The 100th anniversary celebrations of our Republic are an opportunity to renew our hopes for the future and build brighter tomorrows together. On this special day, we once again remember with gratitude the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his comrades in arms, and wish that our Republic will survive forever.
Happy 29 October Republic Day! May the coming years bring even greater success and happiness.
