30 August Victory Day

The Great Victory, won on 30 August 1922 under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades, represents the highest point of the love of independence and freedom. Thanks to our nation's unwavering will, patriotism and spirit of unity, this great victory laid the foundations of the Republic of Turkey and was an important step towards bringing our country to the level of contemporary civilizations.
